Day 1: Arrive Cairo – Start your Egypt Family holiday

Welcome to Egypt! On arrival, your Kay Trips representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport.
Then you will be escorted to your hotel in Cairo for check-in with time to relax at the hotel to adapt to the new time zone. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Giza Great Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum

Start your day with hotel breakfast, then your Kay Trips tour guide will pick you up to begin your unforgettable tour of Giza.
First, you will be taken to the 3 Great Pyramids of Giza to see one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The largest and most impressive is the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu. Alongside in the plateau are the Pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinos). Here at the Valley Temple is the huge Sphinx which also sits proudly at the Giza Necropolis. There will be time for a stop at an old traditional Souk for some delightful souvenirs.
Time for lunch with traditional Egyptian cuisine at a local restaurant.
After that, you will head to the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the largest, most modern, and renowned museums in the entire world. The Grand Museum host over 100,000 ancient artifacts, 4,549 of which were from the tomb of the famous boy King Tutankhamun. A perfect opportunity for the children to see the stunning golden mask of Tutankhamun.
Finally, back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor – Karnak and Luxor Temples Tour

Early breakfast at the hotel in Cairo and then head to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor.
A Kay Trips representative will meet you at the Airport in Luxor then begin your first tour in Luxor. Known as the ancient city of Thebes, the Pharaohs had their huge Temples of Luxor and Karnak constructed. Karnak Temple is considered the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Lunch will be served at a local traditional restaurant, then a visit to Luxor Temple which is joined to Karnak Temple by an impressive Avenue of Sphinx. then transferred to your Luxor hotel.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings West Bank – Transfer to Aswan

Early breakfast at the hotel in Luxor and then transfer to the west bank of the Nile to discover the world-famous Valley of The Kings, containing the masterpieces and discovery of over 62 ancient Egyptian tombs. Howard Carter, the famous British archeologist discovered the burial tomb of Tutankhamun here in the valley. Then move onto the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first Pharaonic female to reign in ancient Egypt.
The next stop will be at the gigantic Colossi of Memnon, the first original entrance to the Valley of the Kings.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
After the Luxor tours, you will be transferred by a modern comfortable vehicle to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan

Day 5: Aswan highlights and Nubian Village

Early Breakfast at the hotel in Aswan. Today you will prepare with your guide, to visit the special highlights of pretty Aswan.
Starting with the Aswan High Dam, a mammoth task constructed in 1960 taking several years to complete. Then a visit to the massive Unfinished Obelisk at the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the largest obelisk so far discovered. You will then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae situated on an island and devoted to the two adored goddesses Isis and Hathor. Free time in the afternoon.
In the early evening, travel across the Nile to the West Bank to a very colorful Nubian village, where you will enjoy dinner with a local traditional and friendly Nubian family. This is a perfect and fun way to immerse your family in a different culture and learn about a different way of life.
Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Return to Cairo – Citadel and Pharaonic Village Tour

Early breakfast at the hotel in Aswan, then transferred to Aswan Airport for your short flight back to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel to check-in and leave your luggage.
After this, you will be met by your tour guide, and taken to the magnificent Citadel of Salah El-Din. The Citadel was constructed after the invasion of the Ottoman Turks which introduced Islam to Egypt. This amazing structure hosts the enormous and ornate Mohamed Ali Mosque along with Mosques and Museum.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant before a visit to the Pharaonic Village, a real educational treat for children. Here they can explore and take part in fun activities adapted for children centered around Egyptian culture. A perfect end to their holiday!
You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo with additional optional tours on offer.
Overnight in Cairo.
