Meet your Egyptian Tour Guide in the morning from the Cruise Ship at Alexandria Port, then transported by comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Giza for your first stop at the Ancient Pyramids of Giza.
Here you will have plenty of photo opportunities, including the largest of the three Pyramids known as Khufu with the other two Pyramids sitting behind, that of Khafre and Menkaure. Khufu was the Pharaoh and father of Khafre and Menkaure, and Pyramids were only built for Pharaoh burials. Within the Giza Plateau, there is the Great Sphinx with the body of a lion and head of a Pharaoh, guarding the ancient Pyramids. All of these Incredible structures will leave lasting memories for you to treasure.
After your Pyramids adventure, you will be taken to a local restaurant for lunch with the opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine.
The afternoon will be taken up by a visit to the recently constructed Grand Egyptian Muse-um. Here, you will be treated to the grandeur of the massive size and incredible amount of antiquities the new Museum has to offer. The original Museum was at Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo. However, it is much more suitable for Tourists and visitors being located next to the Pyramids. Here you will see the largest vast array of artifacts dating back to the first ‘Old Kingdom’ of Egypt into the ‘New Kingdom.’
