The tour's first stop will be at the most famous 3 Pyramids of Giza located at the Giza Necropolis. The most impressive and largest of the three Pyramids is the Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu. Sitting behind are the two other Pyramids of Menkaure and Khafre, the sons and Pharaohs of Khufu. There is also a smaller Pyramid which is interestingly built for family members of the Pharaohs.
Also in this Giza Plateau is the Great Sphinx, sitting in front of the Pyramids and said it protect the Pharaohs in the afterlife.
Plenty of time for some amazing photographs, you are then heading off for lunch at a local traditional tasty meal. Relax and enjoy the views before your afternoon visit to Sakkara to see some very unusual Pyramids.
Here, you will be amazed at the difference between the Pyramids of Giza and the Pyramids of Dahshur and the Step Pyramid. These Pyramids were some of the earliest known constructed as they are very basic in design with uneven sides and not straight lines at the sides.
There were several attempts to improve the structure in these early periods, and Dahshur had several Pyramids, including the Bent Pyramid, the Red and White Pyramids.
