A very early a.m. start for your climb up to the Mountain of Moses, which will take approximately 90 minutes, with the ascent being around 60 minutes.
Our representative will collect you from the hotel in Sharm el-sheik with a breakfast box provided then transferred with a representative to the Sinai Peninsula for your climb. An exhilarating climb for those wanting to see the highest point where Moses announced the Ten Commandments ordered by God and looked across at the promised land where he would take the loyal Christians. Once at the top, you will await sunrise to get the most spectacular sight you are ever likely to see across the mountains of Sinai. Photos are significant as you will never see this incredible site anywhere else.
On the descent, you will arrive at the bottom of Mount Sinai to the ancient Monastery of St.Catherine. Time for lunch before exploring the Monastery and its fascinating history, which dates back to 548AD. Inside, you will see the world's oldest collection of books in its Library and the artwork of painting which is considered extremely valued due to their age and different dynasties they cover. The Monastery had many various occupants over the centuries and is still used for religious followings by Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. St. Catherine was martyred due to her Christian beliefs when Roman imperialism ruled and Christians were condemned to death.
Finally, after your long night and day of unforgettable experiences, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheik for a well-needed rest.
