Welcome to Egypt! Your Kay Trips representative will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Cairo airport then escort you by private transfer to your hotel in Cairo for check-in with time to relax and get acclimatized to the new time zone.

Starting your day with a hotel breakfast, then your Kay Trips tour guide will be picked up to begin your inspiring ancient tour of Giza.
The First stop will be to the magnificent Great Three Pyramids of Giza, one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the largest of which is the Great Pyramid of the Pharaoh Khufu. You will also see the two Pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinos) as well as the Sphinx (head of a Pharaoh and body of a lion) along with the Valley Temple at the Giza Necropolis. Make the most of a great photo opportunity of the breathtaking Pyramids.
The next stop will be for lunch to sample the delicious Egyptian cuisine at a traditional local restaurant.
The afternoon will start with your visit to the world-famous Egyptian Museum, the richest museum of Egyptian antiques in the world containing ancient pharaonic treasures dating back to more than 5,000 years old.
Finally, you will have free time at the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar, open since the 14th century and it is considered to be one of the oldest and biggest bazaars in the Middle East and always the best place for you to pick up some memorable Egyptian souvenirs.
Back to your hotel for the evening.

After an early breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, you will check out and be transferred to Cairo Airport for a short domestic flight to Luxor where you will be greeted and transferred to board your Nile Cruise for 5 days. After lunch on board, the tour guide will collect you to visit the impressive and large Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple which were once the home to the original old capital Thebes. Luxor is home to the unique views across the Nile to the West Bank. In the evening, you will relax and enjoy dinner onboard the ship. Overnight aboard your cruise in Luxor.

An early breakfast onboard your cruise, then heads out with your tour guide to travel across to the West bank of the Nile to visit the Royal Cemetery of an amazing 62 Pharaohs at the renowned Valley of the Kings where the tomb of the boy-king Tutankhamun was discovered by the British archeologist Howard Carter. Then onto the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first female Pharoah in Egypt which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom during the 15th century BC. Travel on to the gigantic Colossi of Memnon, once the entrance to the Valley of the Kings. After lunch, you will sail to Edfu and sailing through the great Lock of Esna with a fantastic photo opportunity. Enjoy a leisurely dinner overnight aboard your cruise in Edfu.

After breakfast on board, your Nile cruise will stop for a visit to the Temple of Edfu, known to be the best-preserved temple of the ancient world. The structure is dedicated to Horus, the falcon god, and a fascinating part of ancient Egyptian history. You will then sail to Kom Ombo, where you’ll encounter the twin temple of the crocodile God where you will learn about the unusual crocodile god Sobek along with the falcon God Horus whose monuments decorate each half of the Temple. Lunch back on board the ship then sailing on to Aswan, home of the colorful Nubian people. You will also have dinner onboard then overnight in Aswan.

After your breakfast on the Nile cruise, you will enjoy a day of sightseeing in Aswan, a colorful City of Souks and the Old Cataract Islands. Starting at the massive Aswan High Dam (construction began in 1960) to improve local electricity, prevent flooding and improve agriculture. Then moving on to visit the ginormous Unfinished Obelisk in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the largest obelisk yet discovered. You will then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae, sitting on a private island and devoted to the two Goddesses Isis and Hathor. Back to the cruise for your dinner on board the ship. Overnight aboard your cruise in Aswan.
