Day 1: Arrival in Cairo for Egypt Anniversary vacation

Welcome to Egypt! Our Kay Trips representative will meet you on arrival at Cairo International Airport and assist to with any procedures at the Airport.
You will then be driven to your hotel in Cairo with a smooth check-in and time to relax at the hotel and adapt to the new time zone.
Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Visit Giza Great Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then our Kay Trips tour guide will collect you to begin your inspiring tour of Giza.
Firstly, you will visit the famous 3 Pyramids of Giza, one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu is the largest and most spectacular of the Pyramids and sits proudly in the forefront of the other 2 Pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinos). Also in the same area is the impressive great Sphinx next to the Pyramids and known as the Valley Temple within the Giza Necropolis.

The next stop will be lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant for the chance to enjoy the delightful and tasty cuisine.
After lunch, you will head to the Grand Museum, one of the largest, most modern, and most renowned museums in the entire world.
The Grand Egyptian Museum host about 100,000 ancient artifacts, 4,549 of which will be from the tomb of the famous King Tutankhamun, along with the magnificent golden mask of the boy king.
There will be a stop during the day at a great Souk for you to get the chance to purchase some memorable Egyptian souvenirs. Also, there is an option to experience our evening tour on offer at the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids
Finally, back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight stay

Day 3: Fly to Aswan - Board Nile Cruise – Aswan sights

Breakfast at hotel in Cairo and then transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, one of our representatives will meet you and transfer you to board the delightful Nile Cruise ship for 4 days. Enjoy lunch on board, then in the afternoon, you will be with your tour guide to visit the famous Aswan High Dam, originally constructed in 1960 to control any potential floods from the Nile. Then continue to the majestic Philae Temple situated on a private Island and built as a place of devotion to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. Finally, on the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting on its side in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Then, back to the cruise ship with dinner on board. Overnight aboard your cruise in Aswan.

Day 4: Visit Kom Ombo and Edfu temples

Breakfast onboard then leaving Aswan, passing the Tombs of the Nobles along with the West Bank and under the pretty Aswan Bridge before sailing on to Kom Ombo. Today, you will visit the unusual Kom Ombo Temple, the only temple shared by two Gods Sobek (the crocodile God) and Horus (the falcon God) in Kom Ombo with its two entrances separating the Gods. Sail on to Edfu with lunch on board and the opportunity to relax on board whilst taking in the beautiful views of the Nile Delta, stone quarries, and farmlands. Then, you will arrive at Edfu to visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt known as Edfu Temple, the falcon God of Horus. Enjoy afternoon tea whilst sailing to Esna, the large lock-in which all Nile cruises have to pass through, and a great photo opportunity. Dinner on board.

Day 5: Luxor Tours

Today you will sail to Luxor with breakfast on board then a tour guided Visit the West Bank of the Nile for an incredible excursion to the Royal Cemetery where 62 Pharaohs were unearthed known as the Valley of the Kings, the discovery site where the famous archeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun. Then on to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, (the first female Pharaoh) built by the architects of the New Kingdom approximately around the 15th century BC, at El-Deir El-Bahari. Finally, a visit to the enormous Colossi of Memnon, the original entrance to the Valley of the Kings. Return for lunch onboard your cruise Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board.

Day 6: Luxor sightseeing – Back to Cairo

Breakfast on board then time to disembark from your Nile Cruise. Finally in Luxor, you will be taken to the important Temples of Karnak and Luxor, the original temples of the Old Kingdom and capital is known as ‘Thebes’ These two temples are connected by an impressive ‘Avenue of Sphinx. In the afternoon, you will transfer to Luxor Airport for a return flight to Cairo Airport. On arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7- Depart from Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel with some free time at leisure before, check out from your room by 12:00 pm
