Having awed travelers down through the ages, these tombs of the Pharaohs Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre), and Mycerinus (Menkaure), guarded by the enigmatic Sphinx, are usually top of most visiting places for tourists attractions to see in Egypt.

Once ancient Egypt’s gateway to Africa, this is a perfect base for exploring the temples, monuments, and other tourist attractions in the southern reaches of Upper Egypt and the area’s distinctly different Nubian culture. With Aswan the closest town to Ramses II’s colossal temples of Abu Simbel, the island temple of Philae, and the Nile-side Temple of Kom Ombo, there are plenty of things to do within day-tripping distance.

Day 1: Begin your Memorable honeymoon Egypt trip – Arrive in Cairo

Our Kay Trips representative will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport who will then escort you by modern vehicle to your hotel in Cairo for check-in. Time for some relaxation after your flight. Overnight in Cairo

You will be welcomed with special honeymoon arrangements from being met at the Airport until arriving in your hotel room.

Day 2: Visit Great Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum

Breakfast at your hotel and then you will be met by your tour guide to explore the famous 3 Pyramids of Giza to see one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The gigantic Great Pyramid of the Pharaoh Khufu is the largest and most prominent of the three and next to the Pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinos). The impressive Sphinx sits close by at what is known as the Valley Temple and part of the Giza Necropolis.
Do not miss the opportunity to take some memorable photos of the Pyramids and include the camels taking people around the Pyramids and sphinx!

Next will be a lunch stop and the chance to try some traditional Egyptian cuisine at a local restaurant.
After your tasty lunch, you will head to the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the largest, most modern, and most renowned museums in the entire world.
The Grand Egyptian Museum host over an incredible 100,000 ancient artifacts, 4,549 of which were discovered as part of the tomb belonging to the famous boy King Tutankhamun.
You will also have the chance to buy some traditional souvenirs at an Old Souk.
Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Celebration in ancient Pharaonic traditions

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then prepare yourselves for an amazing and colorful celebration of your marriage in Pharaonic style at The Pharaonic Village in Giza.

You will make your way to the Pharaonic Village where you will be greeted and the chance to indulge in the life of the ancient Egyptians. The bride and groom will be welcomed by the coordinator who has arranged everything for your Pharaonic celebration. Upon arrival, you are going to join the welcome Zaffa then the Pharaonic celebration in which the procession will resemble an Arabian / Egyptian wedding party. Then you will be transferred by a luxury coach before sunset back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Fly to Aswan - Board Nile Cruise – Aswan sights

Breakfast at a hotel in Cairo and then you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan in Upper Egypt. On arrival, there will be a transfer to your Nile Cruise ship for a 4-day cruise. Enjoy lunch on board, after which you will be collected by your local tour guide to visit the famous Aswan High Dam where construction began in 1960, and an enormous project which took over 10 years to complete. The next visit will be to the majestic Philae Temple situated on a private island and was devoted to the two very important Goddesses Isis and Hathor. Aswan has many ancient sites including your visit to the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting on its side in the stone quarries of ancient Upper Egypt. Then, back to the cruise ship with dinner on board. Overnight aboard your cruise in Aswan.

Day 5: Visit Kom Ombo and Edfu templs

Today you will leave colorful Nubian Aswan, sailing past the Tombs of the Nobles on the West Bank, then under the spectacular Aswan Bridge on to Kom Ombo whilst enjoying a relaxing breakfast on board. Your cruise will then stop for a visit to Kom Ombo Temple, the only temple known to be shared by the two Gods Sobek (the crocodile God)and Horus (the Falcon God). You will then sail on to Edfu with lunch onboard and a wonderful opportunity to sit on the top deck and enjoy romantic views of the Nile Delta passing by the old granite quarries, green farmlands, and old villages. On arrival in Edfu, your guide will take you on a fascinating tour around the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, the falcon God Temple of Edfu. In the afternoon, tea will be served on board during sailing on to the great Lock of Esna which all Nile traffic has to pass through to sail up and down the river, and a brilliant photo opportunity.

Day 6: Luxor Tour to Kings Valley in West Bank

Sail on to Luxor with breakfast on board then your guide will take you on a fascinating visit to the West Bank of Luxor where your excursion will take you to the Royal Cemetery where 62 Pharaoh’s burial sites were unearthed in the Valley of the Kings including the famous tomb of the boy King Tutankhamun by the renowned archeologist Howard Carter. Then on to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first-ever female Pharaoh which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom approximately around the 15th century BC at El-Deir El-Bahari. The last stop of the day will be to the giant statues of the Colossi of Memnon, known to have been the original entrance to the Valley of the Kings.

Day 7: Luxor sightseeing – head to Marsa Alam

Breakfast on board then disembarkation from your Nile cruise after breakfast. Before leaving Luxor, there will be one final guided tour to visit the two famous and oldest Temples in Upper Egypt which was originally known as the City of Thebes. You will visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple which were joined by an avenue of Sphinx and still exist today.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the pretty and exclusive resort of Marsa Alam for a truly romantic getaway on their gorgeous and pristine sandy beaches. The journey will take around 4 hours 20 minutes from Luxor to your Marsa Alam hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Marsa Alam Vacation

Breakfast at your hotel in Marsa Alam with a free day at your leisure to relax at the hotel and enjoy an opportunity to go snorkeling in the beautiful Red Sea at the hotel’s private beach.
Optional tours are available to experience the exquisite diving and snorkeling on the Red Sea known to have some of the world’s best and most stunning coral reefs with some amazing rare species of fish or choose one of the many other optional activities such as windsurfing, sailing and deep-sea fishing.
Overnight in Marsa Alam

Day 9: Marsa Alam Vacation
