The last surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramids of Giza are one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks. Having awed travelers down through the ages, these tombs of the Pharaohs Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre), and Mycerinus (Menkaure), guarded by the enigmatic Sphinx, are usually top of most visiting places for tourists attractions to see in Egypt.

You are on a date with a different unique experience in the land of Pharaohs and legends, Giza Pyramids Plateau, Egyptian Museum, Hear of Islamic Cairo Old Market Khan El Khalili.

Once ancient Egypt’s gateway to Africa, this is a perfect base for exploring the temples, monuments, and other tourist attractions in the southern reaches of Upper Egypt and the area’s distinctly different Nubian culture. With Aswan the closest town to Ramses II’s colossal temples of Abu Simbel, the island temple of Philae, and the Nile-side Temple of Kom Ombo, there are plenty of things to do within day-tripping distance.

Experience a Nubian community on a private tour from your accommodations in Aswan to the rustic Sohail Island in the middle of the Nile River. Intrepid travelers and history buffs cherish the chance to ride in a traditional sailboat and explore the village.

The Nile-side town of Luxor in Upper Egypt has a glut of tourist attractions. The city on the East bank of the Nile River in Egypt, Luxor, the old capital of Egypt (Thebes), was on the West bank of the Nile, where most of the tombs and ruins are. Luxor is often called the world’s most excellent open-air museum, but that comes nowhere near describing this extraordinary place. Nothing in the world compares to the scale and grandeur of the monuments surviving ancient Thebes.

Hurghada was founded in the early 20th century. For many decades it was a small fishing village, but it has grown into a significant Red Sea resort due to Egyptian and foreign investment.
