You will be collected from your hotel after breakfast in Cairo by our experienced Tour Guide then taken by comfortable vehicle to your first stop of the day at the Three Pyramids of Giza. Here you will discover the enormity of the Pyramids, particularly the first one, that of the Pharaoh Khufu. In the background are the two Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the sons of Khufu.
The construction of Giza Pyramids was a mammoth task due to the sheer weight of the limestone which was shipped along the Nile from the ancient quarries of Upper Egypt. The Pyramids sit in the Giza Necropolis alongside the famous impressive Sphinx, said to be positioned there to guard the Pharaohs in the afterlife. Thus, there are plenty of opportunities to take some memorable photos before moving on to have lunch at a local traditional restaurant.
After a relaxing lunch break, you will be taken to the spectacular new Grand Egyptian Museum, just a short distance from the Pyramids. Recently constructed, the museum's contents were moved from the original Museum in Tahrir Square downtown, a monumental task due to the thousands of artifacts and size of some objects such as the giant limestone statues and sarcophagus of Pharaohs and nobles. Amongst the artifacts are treasures found in several tombs from the Valley of the Kings, include the well-preserved articles found in the tomb of the boy King Tutankhamun and his golden mask.

After your enthralling day of ancient discoveries, you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Cairo to relax or chose an optional evening tour.
