The city on the east bank of the Nile River in Egypt. Luxor was the old capital of Egypt, Thebes, was on the West bank of the Nile, that is where most of the tombs and ruins are. Luxor is often called the world’s greatest open-air museum, but that comes nowhere near describing this extraordinary place. Nothing in the world compares to the scale and grandeur of the monuments that have survived from ancient Thebes.
Drive north from Luxor for a day to see two of the most complete temples in Egypt. Abydos Temple is dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld. Temple of Hathor at Dendara is the best preserved in Egypt with full color still visible on its walls.

Overnight in Cairo
Start your day with your hotel breakfast, then a Kay Trips tour guide will pick you up to begin your inspiring tour around Giza.
Today, you will drive south to begin your Pyramids Tour of the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid located at Dahshur. Famous for the Royal Necropolis, it holds many Pyramids of the Pharaoh king Snefru. Dahshur has been a lesser-visited site, yet unmissable for its history and many Pyramids. The site is about 40 km from Cairo.
After this, you will make your way to Saqqara Necropolis to see the famous old Djoser Step Pyramid. It is believed to be the first-ever ancient Pyramid ever built.
Next, it is time for lunch to enjoy some delicious traditional Egyptian cuisine, at a local restaurant.
Time for some interesting shopping at an old Souk for some delightful souvenirs.
After a relaxing lunch, it’s time to visit the ancient City of Memphis to explore the remains of what was once the capital of the Old Kingdom. Here you will see some incredible huge granite statues which once stood proudly in the city.
Finally, your tour guide and driver will return you to your hotel, with free time and the opportunity to join one of our optional tours in the evening. (not listed?)

Start your day with your hotel breakfast. Your Kay Trips tour guide will pick you up to begin your inspiring tour of Giza.
First, you will be taken to the renowned 3 Pyramids of Giza to visit one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and most magnificent of the 3 Pyramids. Sitting close by are the 2 Pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinos) which are located near to the great Sphinx at the Valley Temple within the Giza necropolis.
Next is time for lunch of traditional Egyptian cuisine at a nice local restaurant.
Afternoon, you will head to the enormous Grand Museum, one of the largest, most modern renowned museums in the entire world.
The Grand Egyptian Museum host over an incredible 100,000 ancient artifacts, 4,549 of which were unearthed from the tomb of the famous King Tutankhamun.
Finally, Back to your hotel in Cairo with evening optional tours available.

Your day starts with breakfast at your hotel. Get ready to explore the numerous Cairo Museums, start with the original and oldest Egyptian Museum located at Tahrir square. This is one of the richest museums of ancient Egyptian antiques in the world which contains pharaonic treasures dating back more than 5,000 years old.
Continue to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization located at El-Fustat in Old Cairo. It is the first veritable museum of civilization in Egypt and includes many fascinating royal mummies
Lunch will follow at a well-known local restaurant, then you will head to the Museum of Islamic Art
The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo is considered to be one of the largest and oldest museums in the world. The museum holds more than 104,000 displays reflecting the greatness and influence of the Islamic civilization in Egypt and the whole Islamic world. The museum shows how it has flourished and changed throughout history.
Finally, you will have a free time at the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar which has been open since the 14th century. It is considered one of the oldest and biggest bazaars in the Middle East. Optional evening tours available.

Early Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, then collected by our Kay Tours representative to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan. Transfer to an Aswan hotel to drop off your luggage then met by your tour guide for today’s Aswan highlights.
Starting with the huge construction of Aswan High Dam, started in 1960 and took over 10 years to complete. Then a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk located at the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the largest obelisk yet discovered. You will then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae, devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor and located on an island. Your afternoon is free to relax or explore.
In the early evening, travel across the river Nile by a traditional Felucca boat to a Nubian Village. Here you will experience the traditional Nubian culture and enjoy dinner with a local family. This is a perfect way to immerse yourselves in a lovely environment and learn about another way of life.

Breakfast at the hotel and then you're will drive to the two great Temples of Abu Simbel. Their unique and immense size and style, means they are considered the masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the New Kingdom.
The Egyptian Government and UNESCO decided to co-operate to save these temples from the flood. In doing this, the Temples were completely moved in a mammoth task across Lake Nasser to save them. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel Temple is called The Sun Temple of Ramesses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called theTemple of Hathor, the wife of the Sun God. Symbolically, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God together as one.
From here, you will check in on your Nile Cruise.

After breakfast on board, you will sail to Kom Ombo, passing by the Tombs of the Nobles and pretty Aswan Bridge. Arriving at Kom Ombo, you will be taken on a visit to the unusual twin Temple of Kom Ombo to learn about the Crocodile God Sobek and the Falcon God Horus. You will get a perfect panoramic view of the Temple on approach. These monuments of the Gods decorate each half of the Temple. Lunch back on board the ship to sail on to Edfu, passing the ancient Granite Quarries and picturesque views of the Nile delta. Dinner on board and overnight aboard your cruise in Edfu.

After breakfast, on board your Nile cruise ship, you will visit the stunning Edfu Temple dedicated to the God Horus, said to be the best-preserved Temple in Egypt. After this, sailing to Luxor with lunch on board the ship. You will have dinner on your Nile cruise with a traditional and fun Belly Dance Show on board.

Enjoy your breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast you will begin a wonderful and fascinating in Luxor, known as the original Old Capital of Thebes. Visit the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the enormous Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. The two famous Temples are linked by an Avenue of Sphinx. Then a visit on the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the renowned Valley of the Kings. Over 62 burial sites were unearthed here including the boy King Tutankhamun. A visit also to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, the first known female Pharaoh. Finally, the huge Colossi of Memnon, the original entrance to the Valley of the Kings. Later, transfer to a hotel in Luxor for an overnight stay.

Breakfast at your hotel in Luxor and then heading north of Luxor to discover amazing and often forgotten Temples. First, visit Abydos, the ancient Egyptian God (believed to be Lord of the underworld) and said to be buried there. The Temple was built by King Seti I and completed by King Ramsess II, known as the temple of Seti I. It is located in Abydos city about 420 km to the south of Cairo in Sohag Governate, and 135 km from Luxor. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. Then continue to the Temple of Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor, Goddess of love and joy and located in Dendera. Finally back to your hotel in Luxor

Today, a special trip as a bonus to your holiday! Discover one of Luxor's unique day tours to explore the temples and tombs of the Theban Necropolis on the West Bank of Luxor in this private half-day guided tour.
The Valley of the Queens was the official burial chamber for the wives and children of the Royal Family and was also used as a burial ground for princes, princesses, and other members of the nobility.
Then head to Valley of the Nobles, where you will feel the glory of the Nobles in their family tombs.
After that, we visit Habu Temple the fascinating Mortuary Temple of King Ramesses III at Madinat Habu Temple, and its fortified walls.
Lunch we will be served at a local restaurant.
Late afternoon you will visit the wonderful Mummification Museum that provides an understanding of the process of preserving the body in ancient Egypt.
The museum provides a comprehensive view of the entire process through the display of many tools, objects, and equipment used during the mummification process, along with an explanation of the ritual and religious significance of the practice.
Early evening you will transfer to Luxor Airport for the flight back to Cairo. Overnight stay in Cairo
